The following table outlines the per credit hour rates for the different formats of the program. Please note that some of the formats require additional fees in addition to the per credit hour rate.

Educational Technology Certificate

The Educational Technology Certificate courses (first 9 credits of the master's program) are completed at the Graduate Certification (GC) level, applying first through the Lifelong application. As a GC student, you will not pay matriculation fees each semester or the per credit fee that education graduate students are accessed. Nine GC Certificate credits will be transferred towards the master's after admission into the program.

Master's Degree (Online & Hybrid)

In-state and international student fees will be assessed under the Graduate Programs in Education fee structure available on the Controller's Office web site at http://www.ctlr.msu.edu/COStudentAccounts/Tuition_Fees_Spring_AfterOffset.aspx

Matriculation fees, depending on the number of credits taken, will be assessed each semester.

Up to 9 credits of Graduate Certificate credits can be applied to the Master's degree.

Accessing Your Bill

Upon admission to the university, students are provided with a PID (Personal Identification) and PAN (Personal Access Number) along with instructions about how to immediately activate their MSU NetID account. The MSU NetID enables students to receive important communications from the university. This includes student billing notices, which are only sent electronically.
